Documentation is required.

Parasite Prevention

Recent deworming is required.

Dogs must be on routine flea and tick prevention.

A fecal test is required to screen for contagious intestinal parasites, including giardia and coccidia.

Skin and Physical Examination

A recent veterinary visit is required to obtain
A full physical examination
A thorough skin and coat check to rule out contagious conditions, including ringworm, mites, lice, sarcoptic mange, fleas, ticks, and active skin infections

Grooming and Hygiene

Dogs must arrive clean with nails trimmed.

If needed, dogs should also have a sanitary trim and anal glands addressed prior to arrival.

Illness Screening at Drop Off

Dogs showing signs of illness may be refused at drop off for the safety of other dogs in care. This may include vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, nasal discharge, fever, lethargy, or visible skin issues.

Timing Requirement

All vaccinations, preventive care, exams, and lab testing must be completed prior to the start of services. Clearance documentation must be received prior to drop off.
