To ensure the well-being of all dogs in our care and prevent the spread of infectious illnesses, we kindly request dog owners to adhere to the following protocol:
1. All standard vaccines and boosters must be completed as per the recommended schedule.
2. Rabies vaccine should be up-to-date.
3. Recent de-worming is required.
4. Regular use of flea and tick prevention is essential.
5. Dogs must receive either the new vaccine for bordetella bacterium (kennel cough) or have an up-to-date booster, accompanied by proper documentation.
6. A recent visit to the veterinarian is necessary to obtain (a) a comprehensive physical examination, (b) a thorough skin check-up to detect and address any issues such as staph infections, sarcoptic mange, mites, lice, ringworm, fleas, ticks, severe hot spots, etc., and (c) a fecal lab test to rule out intestinal challenges like giardia, coccidia, and other contagious parasites.
7. Dogs should have had their nails trimmed recently.
8. If necessary, a recent sanitary cut and anal gland expression should be performed.
9. Prior to the commencement of your dog's training, all immunizations, preventive maintenance, procedures, lab tests, and exams must be completed. Detailed documentation from your veterinarian is required, and their signature is mandatory. No exceptions will be made.
Important: Female dogs in heat are strictly prohibited from entering the training facility, board & train program, boarding for the full duration, typically a minimum of 21 days. No exceptions will be made.
