By enrolling in services, Client agrees to pay all fees as stated in the invoice prior to the start of any services, including evaluations, Board and Train, or Board and Care. All fees are non refundable except as expressly stated in the cancellation policy below.
Accepted forms of payment may include cash, credit card, Apple Pay, Zelle, Venmo, or other methods disclosed by Happee Dog Training. Processing fees may apply to certain payment methods.
Reservations are confirmed only after required payment is received. Dates are not held without payment.
Board and Train
A non refundable deposit is required to reserve Board and Train dates. Deposit equals 30 percent of the total program price.
The remaining balance is due at drop off.
Cancellations must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled drop off time. The deposit remains non refundable. Any payments beyond the deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made within the required notice window.
Rescheduling requests are subject to availability. Rescheduling requested within 72 hours of the scheduled drop off time will be treated as a cancellation. The deposit remains non refundable.
Board and Care
Full payment is due at the time of booking to reserve Board and Care dates.
Cancellations must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled drop off time to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice are non refundable.
Rescheduling requests are subject to availability. Rescheduling requested within 72 hours of the scheduled drop off time will be treated as a cancellation.
Holiday and peak demand periods may have limited availability and stricter booking requirements. Holiday rates apply during designated holiday periods.
Happee Dog Training (“Trainer”) provides professional dog training services which may include evaluations, Board and Train programs, Board and Care, and related training services as agreed upon in writing.
Client acknowledges that dog training outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Trainer makes no promise or warranty regarding specific behavior outcomes, performance, or long term results. Training success depends on multiple factors including consistency, follow through, environment, and the dog’s temperament.
Client agrees to follow all handling guidelines, training instructions, and recommendations provided by Trainer. Consistency and owner compliance are essential to maintaining training results after program completion.
Client acknowledges that working with dogs involves inherent risks, including but not limited to bites, injuries, escapes, illness, property damage, or unpredictable behavior. Client knowingly and voluntarily assumes all such risks.
Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Trainer, its owners, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses, including attorney fees, arising out of or related to the dog, its behavior, or participation in services.
Client accepts full responsibility for any injury or property damage caused by their dog to persons, animals, or property during or after services.
Client acknowledges the risk of injury, illness, escape, or death of the dog during training or boarding and agrees that Trainer shall not be held liable for resulting costs or damages.
Veterinary Care, Illness, Injury, and Liability
Client understands that participation in training, boarding, and handling activities involves inherent risk, including the risk of illness, injury, escape, loss, or death. Client agrees that Trainer shall not be liable for accidental injury, illness, parasites, or other health related conditions that may arise during or after services, except to the extent caused by Trainer’s negligence or willful misconduct.
Client authorizes Trainer to seek veterinary care if Trainer determines it is necessary for the dog’s health or safety. Client is responsible for all veterinary expenses, including examination fees, treatment, medications, emergency care, and transportation related costs.
Trainer will make reasonable efforts to contact Client or Client’s emergency contact prior to seeking non emergency veterinary care. In an emergency, Trainer may seek care immediately.
Client must provide an emergency contact who is authorized to make decisions if Client cannot be reached.
Client warrants that their dog is in good health and free of communicable illness. Proof of current vaccinations and parasite prevention may be required prior to acceptance into any program.
Trainer reserves the right to terminate services at any time if, in Trainer’s sole discretion, the dog poses a safety risk, exhibits extreme behavior beyond program scope, or Client breaches any term of this agreement. All fees remain non refundable upon termination.
Client grants Trainer the right to photograph, video, and otherwise record the dog during training and to use such media for educational, marketing, or promotional purposes without compensation.
This Terms and Conditions page constitutes the entire understanding between Client and Trainer regarding services and supersedes all prior discussions or representations. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state in which services are provided.
By submitting payment, scheduling services, or enrolling a dog in any program, Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
